Our pricing is per buggy so if say a 2 seat buggy is $299 on the Mini Baja Chase, that would be only $149.50 per person.  Our larger 4 and 6 seat family buggies are even more affordable per person which really helps if you're traveling with children.  Unlike most places our pricing is all inclusive: no gas fees, complimentary shuttle, and free bottled water for the duration of your Sun Buggy adventure.

We absolutely do offer group rates!  With the largest custom fabricated off road fleet in the world, we are famous for our group events and have hosted as many as 700 people in a day!  Depending on your objective we have several different ways to customize your adventure from bachelor parties to huge corporate team building we can make it YOUR event!  To get a custom quote please call our 24 hour reservation line and ask to speak with our groups specialists.

Sun Buggy provides a free shuttle service on almost all of our various adventures.  We will pick up anywhere in Las Vegas, and have several shuttles running doing pickups every hour most all day 7 days a week.  Please understand that you may have a few stops between your point of origen and our check in facility as one shuttle may be picking up more than one group.  We make every effort possible to ensure that your free shuttle service is timely and swift and we don't want you sitting in a shuttle all day, we want to get you to your buggy as soon as possible.  In order to make sure that delays are kept to a minimum, please make sure that you have a cell phone contact number that we are able to reach you in the event that we are unable to locate your group.  This will help us to be on time for not oly your pickup but others we may be picking up nearby.  Please allow plus or minus 10 to 15 minutes in your scheduling for pickup time and your driver will be in contact to give you an idea as to exactly when we anticipate being at your location.

In Las Vegas our fabrication and training center is at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway which is only 15 miles from the strip (15 to 20 minute ride up the I-15).  All of our adventures include a complimentary shuttle so getting here is no problem, just make a reservation and we'll come and get you wherever you are in Las Vegas (even Lake Las Vegas!).

Our Minimum age to ride as a pasenger is 4 years old.  Everyone must wear a full face off road helmet during their adventure, and it's just too much for a small child to ride around off road with the additional weight on a young neck.  If your 4 year old normally requires a car seat, bring it along and you can use it in the buggie.

Although the Sun Buggy Desert Racers are easy to drive just like an automatic car, we require that those Driving a Sun Buggy be either 16 with a valid drivers license, or 15 with a driving permit AND a parent in the buggy

Don't be scared!  At Sun Buggy, you're in control.  It's not like a roller coaster that gives you no choice, here you can go as fast or as slow as you like.  Although we have over 120 seats in our fleet here at Sun Buggy, we keep group sizes small so you won't feel pressured to go faster (or slower) than you want to go.  We don't let a slow driver hold up a fast group, and we don't let a fast driver intimidate a slow group. 

Beyond that pace at which your adventure tour progresses, our vehicles are very sturdy and stable.  Sun Buggy Desert racers have a lower center of gravity than ATV's, a fully welded double loop steel roll cage, and heavy duty 4 point harness seatbelts.  Everyone is supplied a full face helmet and goggles (included). You cannot fall off of a Sun Buggy,  Once you come out, sit down in a Sun Buggy, put on the 4 point harness seatbelt, and see the full roll cage protecting you, you'll see firsthand that as extreme as you can get in a Sun Buggy, you'll do so in a vehicle that's got a safety record that's unmatched in the off road industry!

Bring yourself!  that's it!  Everything is included and we've got unlimited complimentary bottled water to keep you hydrated while your with us.  You'll not get assulted with extra fees at Sun Buggy, we don't try and sell you gas for your vehicle when you show up, even your hotel shuttle is included!

At Sun Buggy, your reservation is guaranteed!  When you book your reservation payment is taken in full, and your reserved vehicles and time slot cannot be booked out from under you. There are no cancellations, you can count on Sun Buggy to be ready to run rain or shine even if you're the only person booked on a given time, we'll still run your adventure.  If your plans change and you're not able to make a scheduled time, we will allow you to reschedule your adventure or issue a gift certificate for your adventure once you are ready to pick a date provide you give us at least 24 hours of advanced notice.  Within 24 hours of your reserved time there are no reschedules or gift certificates issued.  Under no circumstances are refunds for reserved vehicles issued, so please make sure you either make your reserved time or reschedule over 24 hours out to when you can make your reservation.

Wear whatever you're comfortable in and keep in mind that you'll get dirty.  The biggest thing to AVOID is "flip flops" or sandals as they'll tend to fall off your feet when driving.  Shorts are OK but many who've done a Mini Baja Chase in shorts were walking funny afterwards.

While our patrons are provided both a product that is exhilarating and globally unique, they do so in a vehicle with a safety factor unequaled in the off road industry. Our high margin of safety is accomplished by the following means.

Firstly we manufacture our own frames here in Las Vegas at our speedway facility. They are comprised of 1-1/2 inch DOM mild steel with a fully MIG welded roll cage. Although this design will capacitate a motor in excess of 300 hp and speeds exceeding 100 miles per hour, we use far less power and speed to provide a wide margin of safety.

• We then install a full 4 point racing harness seat belts similar to those used by NASCAR.

• We then require the use of a Full Face Helmet. Which is not required by law, but is required by our policy.

• We then arrange the cock pit orientation identical to that of the average car. One pedal is go the other is stop there is no reverse and the drive is an automatic system with no shifting or clutch pedal.

Our pricing is actually the best value in Las Vegas.  All of our packages are all inclusive and up front.  Other driving adventures never tell you the true price or the truth about what you really get!  Typically you'll have extra fees like fuel, or transportation fees.  Consider that ALL of our packages are all inclusive.  You're not having to pay for cab fare, we don't require you to pay a registration or license fee, and there are no $10 bottles of water, bottled water is complimentary to all of our customers.

Consider a race track "ride along experience"  for 3 laps...  will cost you about $110 Plus cab fare and actual in car time will last about 3 minutes!  Our $199.00 Mini Baja chase is 30 minutes long,  with complimentary shuttle, and you're actually DRIVING the vehicle.

Consider a typical Go-Kart outing which starts at around $50, but you'll have to get a cab over to the place, and then you're expected to purchase a license before you ride.  and that $50 will get you 2 "races"  guess how long a "Race" lasts,  it's over in a few minutes.

Beyond all that, those things you can do in  any major city anywhere in the world.  Nowhere else can you attack the desert in a Sun Buggy Desert racer!  and would you rather go in circles in a wharehouse or a big oval, or engage in a chase over dunes, rocks, and agressive high desert terrain in a 15,000 acre off road park?

These Sun Buggy Desert racers aren't imported from a 3rd world country, they're built RIGHT HERE IN LAS VEGAS at our fabrication center which you're welcome to come tour anytime you like, reservation or not.
